Password length is one factor of several that helps to determine strength and how long it takes to crack a password. The shorter the password, the lower the number of possible combinations that must be tested before the password is compromised. 1. Navigate to Admin >> AAA >> Security.
2. Click the "Management Settings" tab.
3. In the Properties section, ensure "Password Strength Check" is checked.
If the Cisco ACI fabric is not configured to enforce a minimum 15-character password length, this is a finding.
Fix Text (F-75917r1063276_fix)
1. Navigate to Admin >> AAA >> Security.
2. Click the "Management Settings" tab.
3. In the Properties section, ensure "Password Strength Check'" is checked.
4. In the dialog box that opens, ensure "Password Minimum Length" is set to "15".
