All documents, machine-readable media, and equipment are destroyed using procedures that comply with DoD policy (e.g., DoD 5200.1-R).

| Guidance |

| 1. All documents, machine-readable media, and equipment shall be destroyed in accordance with the procedures outlined in DoD policy (DoD 5200.1-R). 2. A destruction catalog shall be created, logged, and stored for at least five (5) years on all documents, machine-readable media and equipment that has been destroyed. |
