A consent banner will be in place to make prospective entrants aware that the web site they are about to enter is a DoD web site and their activity is subject to monitoring. The May 9, 2008 Policy on Use of Department of Defense (DoD) Information Systems Standard Consent Banner and User Agreement, establishes interim policy on the use of DoD information systems. Notwithstanding the above, using this IS does not constitute consent to PM, LE, or CI investigative searching or monitoring of the content of privileged communications, or work product, related to personal representation or services by attorneys, psychotherapists, or clergy, and their assistants. Such communications and work product are private and confidential.
